The World Car of the Year awards are given to vehicles that demonstrate value, merit, safety, environmental responsibility, emotional appeal and significance at the New York Auto Show every year. Of course, there are plenty of concept cars and cool new automotive technologies showcased, but everyone here at Team Mazda Subaru is more excited for the World Car of the Year Awards.

Here at Team Mazda Subaru, we've always known our vehicles are exceptionally safe and now we have the proof to back it up. Drivers in the Caldwell and Boise areas now know that we aren't exaggerating when we say we have a safe Subaru model for everyone. Recently the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety award seven of our models with "Top Safety Pick" awards and we couldn't be happier.

Winning an award is one of the best forms of feedback from customers and fans. Of course, here at Team Mazda Subaru we love it when customers and fans come stop by and tell us how happy they are with their new or used Mazda. But when one of your popular models wins an award, it illustrates how appreciated your vehicle is by fans and customers.

Team Mazda Subaru couldn't sell and represent better vehicle brands. Recently both of our brands have done exceptionally well in terms of gaining popularity and prestige. But we would like to dedicate a blog post to our 2014 Subaru Forester.

Every year www.carsales.com/au polls the population and discovers which new car models will earn a coveted spot as a People's Choice Award winner. This year two new Mazda models earned spots in the Australian publics hearts as well as the People's Choice Awards list.

We've hardly been able to stop talking about the new Subaru BR-Z here at Team Mazda Subaru. But can you blame us? It's fun, it's fast, it's sporty, stylish, lightweight...the list goes on. Consumer Reports has come to be recognized as an expert in the automotive world.
