MAZDA brought their 2012 CX-5 and Takeri concept to the Geneva Auto Show this year. Along with these sleek models, the Japanese auto maker will introduce new SKYACTIV engines: a 2.2-liter SKYACTIV-D diesel in Europe, four-cylinder SKYACTIV-G gas motor, six-speed SKYACTIV-Drive automatic, and the SKYACTIV-MT manual.
Cars featuring the Takeri look combine a futuristic design with state of the art technology, such as an intuitive infotainment system. The auto maker hopes this equipment will help the targeted sales of 160,000 units per year. Don't worry, these models will be available from Team Mazda Subaru in Caldwell, ID once their official release is announced.
SKYACTIV drivetrains ensure "that the Mazda is extremely enjoyable to drive, delivering outstanding fuel economy without compromising on its superior, refined performance."1
